Following the fantastic response to the launch of our new Bunkhouse, we’re delighted to announce the latest additions to the growing range of activities available at Moor House Adventure Centre.
From today, groups can book two exciting new experiences – our brand-new Climbing Wall and the return of our refurbished Zip Line – giving even more reasons to visit Moor House for an unforgettable adventure.
Reach New Heights on Our New Climbing Wall
Whether you’re trying climbing for the very first time or looking to test your confidence and determination, our new Climbing Wall offers a fun and rewarding challenge for young people and adults alike.
With qualified instructors leading each session, groups will have the opportunity to develop their climbing skills, build confidence and encourage one another as they take on the wall.
The Zip Line Returns
After being out of action for several years, we’re delighted to welcome back our popular Zip Line.
Stretching approximately 80 metres, the Zip Line has recently been refurbished and fitted with a brand-new braking system, making it ready once again to provide an exciting experience for visitors to Moor House.
There’s nothing quite like stepping off the platform and soaring through the air before landing safely at the finish – it’s sure to become a favourite activity once again.

Both the Climbing Wall and Zip Line are available to book now.
For Durham Scouts, each activity costs £92.50 for a 90-minute instructor-led session for up to 12 participants.
