Are you an ‘I’ve got a great idea’ person? In the County Programme Team, you’ll help Durham Scout County support our Volunteers to run brilliant programmes for young people. From creating fantastic experiences on a large scale, to providing opportunities for Volunteers to gain Adventurous Activity Permits, you’ll be the leader of a Team of Volunteers that support Adult Volunteers in making sure young people get the most out of Scouts. As part of a supported team, you’ll deliver experiences that are safe and bursting with quality activities for Scouts, whether they’re off for a hike in the local area, learning a new cooking skill or discovering how to empathise with someone who sees the world differently. All in all, you’ll quickly understand how enjoyable it can be to help Adult Volunteers support young people of all ages learn new things, have fun, and create unforgettable memories.
