Are you passionate about leadership development and inspiring the next generation of volunteers? Do you have the vision and skills to design impactful programs? We’re looking for a Future Leader Team Leader to lead the creation and implementation of our exciting new Future Leaders Program.
About the Role
As the Future Leader Team Leader, you will design, launch, and oversee a program aimed at creating a strong pipeline of volunteers for leadership roles across the county. You will work closely with the county team to identify potential leaders, design development pathways, and deliver a program that supports volunteers in transitioning into leadership positions when opportunities arise.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborating with the county team to develop processes for identifying future leaders.
- Designing a development roadmap for all leadership roles (SL, GLV, DLV, CLV, County TL) with clear delivery mechanisms and timeframes.
- Gathering input and feedback from county volunteers at all levels, including young volunteers from Explorers and Network.
- Developing and agreeing on the program approach with the county team.
- Running a pilot program with agreed success metrics.
- Launching the Future Leaders Program as an ongoing initiative for Durham County.
