The County Scout Council recently came together for its Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Every Scout Group, District, and County is required to hold an AGM each year, as outlined in Section 5 of POR. To support this process, The Scout Association provides helpful resources — including agenda templates and meeting scripts — on its website.
At this year’s County AGM, the Annual Report was presented. This document highlights achievements and updates from across Scouting in the County, alongside the Annual Financial Report. You can read the full report here.
During the meeting, approval was given for the following people to serve as County Trustees:
- Chair: Hilary Stubbs
- Treasurer: Nick McCormick
- County Lead Volunteer (ex-officio): Bryan Johnson
- County Youth Lead (ex-officio): Jenny Thompson
- Trustees: Greg Piskosz, Mark Ireland, Ryan Curran, James Elliott
We are also delighted to welcome new trustees: Richard Smith, Caroline Howarth, and George Bowron.
