Blaydon & District First Aid Competition

Scouts from Blaydon & District recently took part in there annual emergency aid competition. A series of checkpoints with activities ranging from CPR to major bleeding. This year’s champions was the team from 1st Chopwell Scout Group.

Byers Green Fire Station Visit

The whole of 1st Byers Green attended Spennymoor Fire Station for a visit and fire safety night. There was even a chance to get the hoses out which resulted in some very soggy young people!
