We are a successful organisation delivering support to more than 6,000 young people. All of our on-going activities are self-funding and as a 110+ year old charity we do not rely upon donations to deliver day-to-day Scouting for the majority of our members or to sustain Scouting.
However, we do need support to help further develop Scouting and to help us deliver Scouting to even more young people, many of whom live in our most disadvantaged communities or who have additional needs. We need to continue developing our services and facilities in to the 21st Century so that we remain relevant in addressing the developmental needs of new generations of young people, and even more young people.
Many Scout Groups and some Scout Districts also need funding support to fund new equipment and facilities to help deliver local Scouting programmes to more young people, or to help some of our disadvantaged youth members to access the widest range of Scouting activities.
