Durham Scouts is excited to announce that Greg Piskosz will take on the role of County Lead Volunteer from 1 January.
Greg brings extensive experience to the position, having served as District Lead Volunteer, Transformation Lead for the County, and a member of the County Leadership Team. He is committed to building strong teams that support adult volunteers in delivering inspiring and adventurous programmes.
He will work closely with outgoing County Lead Volunteer, Bryan Johnson, during the handover period. Greg’s appointment follows a rigorous selection process conducted over the summer, with thanks to all who applied, nominated others, and supported the search team.
Bryan Johnson is recognised for guiding Durham Scouts through a period of significant transformation, including rebuilding the County Leadership Team and helping the organisation recover from the impact of the pandemic. Under his leadership, Durham has seen continued growth, more top awards achieved, and a thriving programme of activities.
Durham Scouts looks forward to welcoming Greg in January and thanks Bryan for his outstanding contribution to the County.
