Volunteering Has It's Rewards
Volunteering with Durham Scouts has it's rewards - improved life satisfaction, improved self-esteem, reduced feelings of loneliness and stress and the development of useful employability skills. In fact, most of our volunteers say that they feel more confident and more motivated in their jobs!
You also get to spend time with some friendly and welcoming volunteer colleagues and - if that's the role for you - with our fantastic young people in Beavers (aged 6 - 8), Cubs (aged 8 - 10), Scouts (aged 10 - 14) or Explorer Scouts (aged 14-17).
Check out our Volunteering Page to find out more about the benefits of volunteering with Durham Scouts and to let us know that you're interested in supporting us as we look to deliver even better Scouting to even more young people.
